The Protected Trust Services team were delighted in the most recent article in Travel Weekly discussing PTS becoming FCA regulated.

It was a big decision for the PTS Management Team especially as there is no legal obligation for any PTR compliance solution, or travel business solution, to be FCA registered. However, Daniel Landen, PTS MD, and the management team felt that having a further stamp of regulation would only enforce the consumer and member security and trust.

The feedback and interest in our new move to enhance our travel firm protection solution have been even more positive that we were hoping for.

We wanted to make consumers feel even more protected. They may not understand the Package Travel Regulations but most consumers do recognise FCA as do suppliers and members.

PTS is the only travel protection process that offers further FCA regulation which does enhance any PTS members’ consumer protection policy.
