  4. If a consumer has any concerns about the allocation of their monies and the holiday supplied by a PTS member they can contact PTS directly.
  5. PTS is FCA registered to ensure trust and confidence when booking with any PTS member.

Why Should Consumer Money Be Protected in Travel?

  1. The Package Travel Regulations must legally be fulfilled by tour operators and travel agents when selling to UK consumers.
  2. Both UK and international travel must be covered.
  3. Ground-based travel, bookings without flights, must also be Package Travel Regulation Compliant. Bookings with flights must also be ATOL protected and PTS members also hold ATOL when required.
  4. Travel bookings are considered a high ticket item and as such all consumers should be aware of the protection in place when booking.
  5. Preventing fraud and ensuring consumer protection in travel is of the utmost importance.
