Who Are The Holiday Creators?
The Holiday Creators was launched on the 1st of August 2025 and has been a member of PTS ever since. Director Stuart and his husband Chris have been running The Holiday Creators for almost a year, and the business has grown incredibly fast.
The Holiday Creators is a bespoke independent travel agency based in South Wales, United Kingdom. “We specialise in creating custom, personalised itineraries and curated holiday packages designed to offer high-quality travel experiences across various budgets.
“Together, [Stuart and Chris] make a fantastic combination; I bring years of extensive travel industry experience, while Chris handles the IT and social media side of operations, allowing us to rapidly improve the business and elevate our customer service. Having previously flown as cabin crew for British Airways, Chris also brings firsthand, extensive knowledge of worldwide destinations to the table.
“Personal service is at the very heart of what we do. Every customer has a dedicated holiday creator assigned to them, ensuring they are looked after personally from start to finish. Furthermore, thanks to our fantastic, long-standing relationships with hotels worldwide, we are often able to arrange lovely little extras in our customers’ rooms to let them know we truly care.”
Stuart and Chris are already looking forward to an even more successful second year of business, “We have had a phenomenal year and we’re looking to build on this success in our 2nd year. We will further develop our business relationships with our suppliers. We hope to build the business by adding some homeworkers in the very near future but I feel it’s important to make sure you have the support in place before taking on homeworkers having been a homeworker for a large consortium I know sometimes you feel like a number and only the top sellers are looked after.”
Why Did The Holiday Creators Start Looking For Support?
When The Holiday Creators was founded, Stuart and Chris were looking for “total control of the business, and the ability to keep our hard-earned commission rather than giving it away to a consortium.”
After being a homeworker under a large consortium, Stuart was focused on ensuring his own business would be completely in his control. Not only would this allow them to distribute their earnings across their business better, but it ensured their creativity and ideas weren’t stifled by someone above them putting restrictions in place.
Those ambitions were exactly what brought him to PTS. “I found PTS through starting to look at my options for my business and after careful consideration of all of the homeworking options out there I decided PTS had what I wanted to move my business forward and would be a great fit.
“Before joining, setting up my own suppliers was a challenge and took longer than I had anticipated but I had help from the PTS team to move this forward, getting my own ATOL was scary but I did a lot of DP holidays so this was a must and still today this is the majority of our business and I love being able to use my own suppliers which helps us deliver anything our customers need to bring their travel plans to life.”
Why Did They Choose PTS?
Stuart didn’t want to be restricted under a consortium again, and freedom to control their business and choose their own suppliers was at the top of their list for support. During his research, Stuart found PTS and we ticked the biggest boxes for him, “Keeping more of your hard-earned commission, choosing your own suppliers, having the options for my own ATOL, and feeling you are in control of your own business – and don’t have to follow a consortiums plan/setup,” were the most important features for him.
Initially, they struggled to get set up, but the PTS team helped them settle in, “India was great at helping us get set up with everything we need, Miya also helped us to get some suppliers set up who we were struggling to get sorted. Lianne helped me through my ATOL application. The team are always responsive when you have a question or need some help.”
Now, almost a year later “being able to choose suppliers and work directly with hotels which means we are able to offer our customers great prices on bespoke packages,” has had a huge impact on their success over the past year.
“In our 1st year our business has really taken off and grown faster than I ever expected and making the decision to move from a large consortium was the best thing I ever did and I wish I had done it sooner,” Stuart said. “We sponsored our local radio station music awards and I presented the Best Male Solo live on the night, the sponsorship has also given us our 1st ever radio advert which can be heard regularly on the local station, I have also very recently co-hosted their Pure Country show and managed to even got to mention about all the wonderful music holidays we can offer.
“We have plans to host some local events to get customers to think about all the different holidays out there. Our business has really taken off and I have increased my sales by 400% compared to the previous year.”
To celebrate their growth, and look forward to the next year’s plans, Stuart and Chris have decided to host their own conference aboard a Crystal Cruise!
