Canterbury Travel offer incredible Lapland tours, which will now be available to all PTS travel agents.

About Canterbury Travel

Canterbury Travel is a specialist tour operator, who have been providing Santa holidays and short breaks to Lapland for over forty years. This market leader offers arguably the most authentic experience of Lapland within the travel industry. Canterbury’s tours are based in remote ski villages approximately 130km north of the Arctic circle, and their Santa holidays range from fully inclusive day trips, to two, three and four night short breaks.

Santa Holidays With Canterbury Travel

On the enchanting Lapland day trip, customers can enjoy a snowmobile and sleigh transfer from the airport to the activity location (weather permitting), which is an experience that is unique to Canterbury Travel. Once at the lakeside location, families may enjoy a range of traditional Arctic activities, including husky and reindeer sleigh rides, tobogganing, snowmobiles and a visit to a snow igloo.

For longer durations, Canterbury really captures the magic of Christmas. The two, three and four night tours provide an enhanced programme of activities that are incorporated into a special story focused itinerary, which embraces the romance of searching for Santa in his homeland. Key features of these tours include ninety minute reindeer and husky experiences, a journey to the magical post office, and a meeting at home with the elves – which includes plenty of interaction and snow games with five very special character elves! On each of Canterbury’s Santa breaks, a private family meeting with Father Christmas is assured.

New Year Holidays With Canterbury Travel

If your clients are looking for somewhere special to spend new year, Canterbury operates a six night Arctic adventure holiday. It is tailored towards adults and families with older children. The Lapland Arctic adventure break is a great value for money package, that includes reindeer and husky safaris, a three to four hour snowmobile safari, a guided snowshoe hike, and a trip to an amethyst mine. This bucket list holiday is rounded off with a dinner and after-party on December 31st, making it a great way to see in the new year!
