Particularly Val d’Isere because it’s great for the nightlife, amazing for skiing and boarding, but it’s also really pretty. They’ve made a big effort to make it all look like a real chalet resort with wooden buildings and snow and buildings that actually blend into the mountains, it’s really beautiful.
“But if you want somewhere a bit smaller, a bit more romantic to go with your husband or wife, or perhaps somewhere to go with small children, then my favourite would be Sainte Foy Tarentaise. It’s very small and not very known. None of the big tour operators go there, so it’s much quieter and much smaller, but it’s very pretty and romantic.”
