As we have all been anticipating since Monday, October 4th after the announcement of the Red and Rest of the World lists to replace the traffic light system, Grant Shapps has presented to us the move of 47 countries off the red list and onto the Rest of the World list.

This leaves only 7 destinations left with 10-day quarantine for UK travellers and opens the doors to a myriad of wonderful holiday spots.

Another update should be due to come in three weeks, and we look forward to what it might bring. If you’re looking to book a great holiday for October half-term or 2022, here is the remaining Red list, as of October 11th 2021.

The Red List

  • Colombia
  • Dominican Republic
  • Ecuador
  • Haiti
  • Panama
  • Peru
  • Venezuela

Don’t forget to always check the destination’s restrictions and entry requirements on the Foreign Travel Advice page before you book your holiday.

So, when you’re ready to book your next awesome holiday to one of these terrific destinations, don’t forget to get in contact with a travel business registered with PTS offering complete financial security. And if you’d like assistance choosing which lovely travel business to book with, you can contact PTS directly at 0207 190 9988.

And, if you’d like to learn more about your consumer protection, the new travel system, or how your holiday booking is protected by the package travel regulations, check out our articles and pages.
